The Beginning
At age 28, Isaac Veejay was on top of the world, but he didn't know that by age 36 he would be a washed-up, beaten down failure. Then something special happened to him. Our Lord Jesus Christ found Isaac and he accepted the LORD in November of 2000. This was the beginning of a changed life. The life of Isaac Veejay was shaped and molded at The Light of the World Christian Ministries
International located at 3255 Laconia Avenue in the Bronx, New York. As a young Christian, Brother Veejay was faithful and dedicated, and never turned down any assignment that was given to him. He was a humble and gifted child of God whose ultimate desire was to do the will of God. Little did he know that the road was not going to be a smooth ride, but he also understood and embraced the Divine Providence of God and His faithfulness to keep His own.
Wisdom of God
God in his wisdom used the founder of The Light of the World Ministries International; Rev. Dr. Isaac Arku, the late Rev. Anthony Buckner, Rev. Joshua Konadu and other matured Christians to help develop Isaac Veejay's Christian life and made Salvation more real and meaningful to him. In this early years of his Christian life, Isaac Veejay, learned the importance of Bible studies, prayer, fasting and spiritual warfare. He became a Sunday School Teacher and later joined the Care Ministry team. The participation in the Church activities built a solid foundational qualities and virtues that made Isaac Veejay who he is today.
In 2006, Isaac Veejay, was enrolled in the Ministers in Training Course (MIT) which he completed successfully by the grace of God. He was later ordained as a Minister and continued to serve at the Light of The World Christian Ministries in the Bronx Assembly.
On July 17, 2010 Isaac Veejay married his beautiful wife Victoria Veejay at the Bronx Church. The Couple have three handsome Children: Ernest, Kevin and Peter. He was released from the Bronx Assembly to help with Ministerial work at the Dutchess Assembly in 2011 by the Overseer Rev. Dr. Isaac Arku.
On November 16, 2019, Isaac Veejay was ordained as a Reverend and later worked alongside our beloved Rev. Maureen Arku at the Dutchess Assembly as the Assistant Pastor. He is currently acting as the Resident Pastor of the Dutchess Assembly since Rev. Maureen Arku is on a Missionary assignment in Florida.
Rev. Isaac Veejay was sponsored to continue his leadership training at Andersonville Theological Seminary Camilla GA. He is on track to graduate this coming May 2023 with Bachelor of Theology, Rev. Isaac Veejay also holds New York State Life Insurance License.
The journey has been up and down but through it all the Lord had been faithful to his word
(1 Thessalonlans 5:24).
Today it has please the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, and the Bishop-Elect, Rev. Dr. Isaac Arku, the Overseer of The Light of the World Christian Ministries International to elevate God's servant Isaac Veejay as the Resident Pastor of the Light of the World Christian Ministries, Dutchess Assembly.
